Ogbonna out for the rest of the season
Requires knee surgery, according to Slav.

And why he has been off form and hopefully to come back and stay for a few years. Excellent defender.

Well done to the board for putting up the cash for a more than adequate replacement.

Now get a striker!

Some people probably need to revise their opinion of Ogbonna now.

Exwhu has known about this for 2 weeks and didn't reveal it in order not to affect the Fonte deal

I hope one or two critics will give him a little credit as he's really not the attention seeker some make out

Cheers for battling on big man, fair play as I know what a bastard shafted knees are.

He's been shit. Let's hope Fonte does better.

Let's also hope it was because he was carrying an injury, rather than he was just shit?

How's that revision.

ExWhu knows fuck all. He doesn't know the meaning of restraint, it's just that the Sullivan kid has tired of his noshing technique.

In fairness Vexed he might know fuck all but that's still a lot more than you matey.

I'll admit that's not a very high bar though.

So Slav would rather play a crooked Ogbonna than play Collins..Probably Collins last year.. been a good servant over the years. Made his fair share of mistakes but played plenty of blinders along the way.

Can't see Collins going now, which is a pity as I thought it would mean Oxford getting some game time and we might get 3 or 4 million for him.
Unless Burke is going to stay once his injury clears up.
That would be good planning and prepare us for next season

Reid & Fonte it is then 😊

Re: Ogbonna out for the rest of the season
I rated him last season, but the last couple of months I thought he's been a shadow of himself, terrified and hesitant on the ball so he ends up always turning the ball back to the keeper instead of quickly making the forward passes that have been on.

This report goes a long way to explaining why he's played so far below what we were seeing last season.

Get well soon, Oggy, amichi.

Collins has not only been injured and is possibly still not back to full fitness, but has been excellent when called on recently. And yes, he did look a bit ropey very early in the season, as he has done before prior to having a good season.

Why do we always have to slag off our own?
